Day 4: Dia De Los Muertos, Banksy's and shopping.

Sunday Morning: Josh and I woke up with plans to hit La Pavillion  (http://www.lepavillon.com/) for breakfast, as they have amazing eggs Benedict and bananas foster fresh made. Brunch on Sunday was quite an experience in the past with a full breakfast buffet and bottomless mimosas.
When we got there, it was almost over ( it was 1pm, ended at 2 ) and most of the food was picked over pretty hard. Price was 55$ a person.

We changed our minds and headed to this place.

And the eggs Benedict was really good. Coffee was also well made and dark. Not that watered down stuff

I ordered grits for my side and put butter with a touch of sugar in them, and it really hit the spot.

After we meandered through twon and headed up towards the french quarter. On the way we found this store, with really high prices but super cute gear  (http://www.lucky13.com/)

Then we walked back to our place. New Orleans has such interesting streets. Here we have a median that is filled with trees and looks like a jungle.

And here we have a huge old building with glass on the top of the brick walls, I assume to deter intruders.

We stayed home for a bit and decided to go back out and hit one final club. On our way the night was slowly creeping in, and we found a possible Banksy.

The club was a local secret and a total win. It was like a country club. I had an incredible cosmo ( my personal drink of choice) and it was super gay friendly. We swam in a heated pool that was flooded with dark blue lights, ( a personal favorite of mine) and then sat in the hot tub talking to new people. Conversation led us to new possibilities for next year ( That is how we do)

We pulled ourselves away from the warm hot tub, shadowed in palm trees, and the random rain drops that reminded us of the world outside. The sky was a purple hue, and the whole experience was magical.

We headed home using Uber ( the honda accord smelled really nice and the driver talked really quietly) and Josh headed back out to our Rally's ( I bet they were surprised to see us at an early 9pm).
I ate a lot of chicken, and almost fell asleep when we heard five gun shots ( we didn't know what they were, but the landlord next door (we are in a duplex) said it was gunshots)

Josh found this on Reddit about it ( https://www.reddit.com/r/NewOrleans/comments/3r6g5x/gun_shots_in_the_7th_police_showed_up_in_under_10/)

Needless to say, I wasn't sleepy after that, but after some reading, I fell asleep.
