Alabama Day 1

So, the trip from Seattle to Georgia, was not bad. The flight was.....tolerable. Although the seats were very narrow( do they get more narrow? Feels like they do. And harder....) I bought a maple ham and cheddar sandwich that was pretty good and passed the time with "Gone in 60 seconds" and some plague inc.

In comparison to the plane, it was luxury with bathrooms in the back and everything. The ride into Aniston was about 2 hours, quite tolerable and the seats were easy to fall asleep in. It became dark fast and only the dark purple hue of the sunset and silhouette of trees unfamiliar to me were in the distance.
We arrived and were registered with all our paperwork, given an I PAD to use for the duration of the stay that had all the agenda and interesting materials and received dinner. I took mine straight to my room because I was starving and tired and craved a shower

If you drive to the airport from down south, be forewarned  it isn't pretty. Traffic is terrible all the time. After the plane flight and waiting to get off the plane, I met the CDP folks and was escorted to a big beautiful bus that was almost empty. We awaited another plane for about an hour and then were on our way. Did I say the bus was big? .

The meal was decent and warm, which I was very grateful for.  And I inhaled it and downed a hige bottle of water, the travel made my allergies flair up and I was totally dehydrated.

After some food and water, I was antsy to look around. I found the lounge, but decided against a drink since travel is pretty hard on me. Next the dining area, which was locked. I came back to my room and settled in, chatted with J on Google chat to ease the painn of missing him and took a shower. I have internet now as well and am listening to Pandora  The time zone here is different, so I am having some work settling in........Till tomorrow.
